While Joe Straws didn’t get a scholarship offer from Missouri State after his camp performance, he felt like he did well – aside from a minor setback.

“My camp at Missouri State went well. I did very well in the combine testing. Also I did pretty good in one-on-ones.

Unfortunately I pulled my hamstring at the end of the camp. But I have been in touch with Missouri State the most. Talking to Coach Barkema,” Straws said.

“I will most likely try to make to make it back during the season,” Straws continued.

Straws has also camped with Northern Iowa and Northwest Nebraska, but at this point he’s focusing on the season.

“I’m just working to heal my pulled hammy. Really just looking forward to the season at this point. I guess I need two or three more weeks to be absolutely sure I’m 100 percent healed,” Straws finished.
