Jenks (OK.) High receiver Carson Epps has been in contact with the Missouri State Bears. The rising senior talked with Scout.com about his latest recruiting developments.

Jenks receiver Carson Epps is one of the top receiver targets on the board for Missouri State. The 6-foot-2, 197-pounder has a lot going for himself as a player.

"My strengths are my size, strength and my work ethic," Epps said. "My junior season wasn't as good as I would have liked. But I learned a lot."

Epps did enough to catch the attention of a handful of schools, including Missouri State.

"I hear most from Missouri State, Louisiana Monroe, Oklahoma Baptist, Tulsa and Arkansas State," he said.

So where does Missouri State stand among the other programs that he's hearing from?

"I like the school and the facilities a lot. I could see myself going there.

"I've talked with several of their offensive coaches and formed a pretty good relationship with them. The camp went well. I made some good plays and had a lot of fun," Epps said.

Epps plans to camp at Tulsa, Arkansas State and Louisiana Monroe this summer.
