J.R. Hensley (6-foot-4, 285-pounds) recently added a scholarship offer from the Missouri State staff. The offer is the first for the big Oklahoma lineman.
"The Missouri State offer was unexpected and exciting," Hensley said. "I came to a football camp and sure enough, Missouri State was there. They said, ‘If you want to come play at our school for three or more years as a starter, you give me a call,'" Hensley continued.
Hensley doesn't know a lot about the Bears' program at this time, but he has a former teammate who's on the roster and is very interested in learning more.
"(The Coach) said some great things about the school. Bu I don't know too much. My teammate Malik Earl signed with them. He absolutely loves it. He has nothing but good things to say about it. I'll probably go see the campus sometime soon," he continued.
Hensley is not only a big, physical lineman, but he's also a cerebral one.
"I'm pretty intelligent when it comes to beating the guy in front of me. I do a lot of research on my opponent," he said.
